Knysna, situated on the Garden Route, South Africa is a destination where water sport is a way of life. Blessed with all year round good weather and ideal lagoon sailing and boating conditions, Knysna was the perfect place for Chris and Liz Tait to start their business in 1994. Having returned from sailing in their 37 Yacht for 2 years, TAIT Marine was started to supply their fellow sailors and boaters with quality equipment.
Realising a demand for outboard motors and powerboats, TAIT Marine grew steadily and has continued to keep up with customer demand. Today we supply a wide range of boating products and services from premium powerboats to used boats, accessories, storage and maintenance, trailer manufacture and repair.
In 2001, Chris and Liz son, Don joined TAIT Marine to tackle a new venture. Namely the manufacture of their own range of Boats suited to the Knysna lagoon and surrounding area. Tait Marine are devoted Mercury, Evinrude E-Tec and Johnson agents.
